The Omicron CP TD15 extends the CPC 100 into a comprehensive condition assessment platform, adding tan delta (dissipation factor) and capacitance measurement capability. This combination is used extensively for assessing the condition of HV insulation systems in cables, power transformers and bushings — providing valuable diagnostic data that helps identify insulation degradation before failure.
Note: the CP TD15 is an accessory and must be used in conjunction with the Omicron CPC 100, which is also available for hire from HV Tech Hire. Consider hiring both together — ask us about combined rates.
